  • Responsibilities

    Coordinates and creates Capital Expenditure purchase orders, manages Capital Expenditure actual spend versus budget reporting and assists with the creation of the Annual Capital Expenditure budget. Partners with development staff; fields and researches campus, home office and vendor inquiries.


    Here are a few of the responsibilities of the Capitcal Purchasing Coordinator: 

    • Issues purchase orders completely and in a timely manner for all capital expenditure requests.
      • Provides and adheres to a detailed, itemization of products on the purchase order with complete GL account and job information to communicate the items being ordered clearly so that any approvers and/or accounting personnel understand the items that are being ordered.
      • Adheres to a 24-48 hour turnaround time.
      • Maintains accurate and organized files of purchase orders.
    • Reviews invoices for proper approval and provides GL coding for invoices as needed.
    • Consults with company personnel on accounts payable-related issues.
    • Partners with Accounting Fixed Asset Team to field and research vendor inquiries.
    • Maintains capital expenditure actual spend versus budget reporting.
    • Works closely across departments to research any capex discrepancies.
    • Assists in the creation of the annual capex budget.
    • Assists with special projects and ad hoc analysis as requested.
    • Supports Finance, Accounting and Development Teams.
    • Conserves resources by adhering to financial stewardship using prudent judgment related to expense(s) incurred by the Company.
    • Minimal travel including overnight stay as necessary.




    You would be a great fit for our team if you have the following:

    • High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in accounting or business or related field preferred.  


    • Minimum one (1) year of accounts payable/fixed asset experience. Healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment preferred.
    • Minimum one (1) year multi-facility experience preferred.
    • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
