  • Financial and Treasury Analyst

  • Responsibilities

    Responsible for the development and maintenance of certain finance Excel models; participation in the treasury management function; and completing due diligence work for financing and business transactions. 


    • Responsible for the completing the following finance activities, yet not limited to:
      1. Quarterly HUD R4R reimbursement process and filings (estimate is $1M per quarter). Maintain information by campus and communicate with Development/Construction department.
      2. Schedule of Development versus stable Campuses.
      3. Conduct due diligence work for bank/HUD financing transactions as directed.
      4. On balance sheet construction financing and tracking for Lender and Developer reporting and reimbursement.
    • Responsible for the following Treasury activities:
      1. Treasury management and banking activities. Support campus personnel in banking related issues (resident trust accounts).
      2. Stage daily wire transfer requests and provide support to departments outside Treasury for payment process procedures and approvals.
      3. Daily bank deposits.
      4. SOX compliance testing assistance.
      5. Daily cash reporting; bank vs. book.
    • Files, communicates and tracks collateral modifications and approval requests with Lenders, HUD and Lessors.
      1. Reduction, addition, or sale of beds.
      2. Remodeling/structural changes to mortgaged/leased property.
      3. Easements, sale of land, etc.
    • Ongoing analysis (including, but not limited to) of:
      1. Preparation of financial analysis requests for bank, HUD, lease or REIT partner.
      2. Provide due diligence support for business acquisitions or divestitures as directed.
      3. Assists with covenant compliance reporting as necessary.
    • Regular ad hoc requests as necessary.
    • Conserves resources by adhering to financial stewardship using prudent judgment related to expense(s) incurred by the Company.
    • Periodic travel including overnight stay as necessary.
    • Meets Expectations of Excellence for position.
    • Supports campuses, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.
    • Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct.
    • Responsible for uncompromising levels of cleanliness and safety.
    • Leads by Example (LBE), upholds and promotes the culture, mission and values of the Company.
    • Performs all job duties with a friendly positive and team-oriented approach.
    • Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities.
    • Complies with all Company policies, procedures, rules and standards.



    • Four (4) year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business equivalent from an accredited college or university.



    • Three (3) or more years of accounting experience and one (1) year or more of financial analysis experience. Healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment preferred.
    • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
