  • Responsibilities

    Directs, analyzes, researches and comprehends critical data points to improve clinical competencies and quality assurance of the Company. Provides guidance, support, communication and coordination of clinical programs and application including MatrixCare and KeySTATS. Reviews all quality data to ensure accuracy and assist with quality improvement plans. Generates reporting that assists in the review of data, ensuring that leaders can make clinical decisions on a timely basis. Creates and provides the maintenance of ongoing reporting to senior leadership, divisional and campus leadership and the Board of Directors.


    Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Clinical Quality Analyst: 

    1. Conceptualizes the development of all clinical excellence enterprises. Creates strategies and reporting and analytical needs.
    2. Provides training and a climate for learning and facilitating the adult learning process of the company’s clinical systems (MatrixCare, etc.) by creating, supporting, planning and presenting educational activities.
    3. Participates and identifies strategies for improving professional development activities, clinical system practices, and effective system use by users for Quality improvement.
    4. Provides clinical content expertise and leverage knowledge of care provider systems to create solutions that will impact quality across the care continuum.
    5. Creates and assists in the development of accurate documentation in MatrixCare.
    6. Provides Quality support. Troubleshoots and assist in creating an action plan for quality improvement.
    7. Establishes the strategic direction to incorporate division based multi-disciplinary teams that are focused on reducing variation and improving clinical performance.
    8. Assists in mock surveys for readiness of the state surveys.
    9. Utilizes trends, quality data and analyzes to identify and design a plan to implement performance improvement initiatives in quality and safety indicators.
    10. Provides education related to quality measures, processes and procedures.
    11. Designs and conducts analyses that quantify the impact of policy and/or market changes.
    12. Directs automated reporting to provide timely information, allowing for decisions to be made in a real-time environment.
    13. Reviews all infection, fall and wound events and tracks and analyzes trends and advises management on areas of improvement.
    14. Closes all events that are open after a resident is discharged.
    15. Develops tools to optimize the efficiency of clinical quality and reporting.
    16. Directs and provides leadership of the clinical data systems. Ensures that systems are kept up to date; eliminating reporting that is no longer relevant.
    17. Partners with department heads, divisional support, and campus personnel to achieve goals and objectives.
    18. Travel (25%) including overnight stay as necessary.




    You would be a great fit for our team if you have the following:

    • Bachelors’ degree in Social Work or Bachelors' degree in Psychology required
    • LSW required


    • Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in healthcare, senior living industry or long- term care environment preferred.
    • Navision, Jet Reports and Matrixcare software products or equivalent preferred.
    • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
